I am in Los Angeles now. Or you can say I'm in Northridge, which is in the county of Los Angeles. Whatever, you get the picture.
I moved just a week ago. I know my family already misses me. In some ways, I miss them too, and my pets too! I'm living with my friend and her mom. I should be staying until spring semester. I'm on a waitlist for on-campus housing.
I'm taking it easy. I'm going to keep the fun stuff (i. e. clubbing, drinking, exploring, etc) to a minimum. After all, I'm still trying to get to know the area, even though I've been to LA several times before and I've researched it. Yet, I'm going to do film-related stuff whenever I can, such as volunteering at film festivals or even going to test screenings. I want to help my favorite industry.
I'm sick right now, but I'm still attending classes. Its the first week of classes too. I have a cold, but my symptoms could be telling more. We'll see.

Don't worry. You'll get through it. :) Just enjoy yourself as much as you can while you're there.
