Oh wow, where to begin.
Today was a crazy day! I found out that, apparently, I'm still going to Cal State Northridge. I got a D in my English class during spring semester, which, according to the school, canceled my transfer. After getting my summer semester grades, my mom decided to call the school to see if I was eligible to transfer, even though I was suppose to be ready by the end of spring. The lady on the phone said I was already accepted months ago, regardless of my D and the passing grade I got in group communication this summer. (Both classes fulfill the school's critical thinking requirement.) I got confused, saying that the school doesn't accept grades lower than C for those classes. Then she said that D is usually considered a passing grade and that the school itself doesn't follow its own rules! Since hearing the news, we've all been in a rush. I managed to send in my updated transcripts today for overnight delivery. They're due this coming Monday. We also made plans to visit the campus and to talk to my friend about rooming with her for one semester. We have a lot of things to do still. Oh man, after a few months of looking into other schools and planning my life after apparent failure getting into CSUN, now I'm going back to Plan A, my initial goal. I don't want to get my hopes high though. I'm afraid that someone at CSUN will look closely at my grades, play by the books, and tell me I'm not going to the school all because I didn't fulfill my requirements by the end of spring.
