I finally got a damn car...I guess.
Here's what happened. I went with my parents to an Enterprise Car Sales store. The car I chose was a nice 2007 Kia Optima. After I test drove it, my mom realized that it was too nice for me. She believed that if I had gotten the car, my Dodge-Neon-owning sister would get jealous and raise hell. So we made a compromise. The Kia would go to my mom and I would get her old car, a 2005 Hyundai Accent. Basically, I got a hand-me-down that is as basic as but better than my sister's car. Sure, I was disappointed at first but I was okay with the deal. I have plenty of experience with the Hyundai (and other similar sedans) so I'm use to it.
I'm trying to keep this news low profile, just like the times when I got a tattoo, turned 18, turned 21, was working on some films, and got into some relationships. (Hell, even this blog is suppose to be a secret! Shhh!) I haven't told all my friends about the car yet. I know that they'll be going "Ooh ooh! Take me somewhere! Drive me somewhere!" Unfortunately, I told two friends and they're already going "Come visit me at my out-of-town home RIGHT NOW!" I shouldn't have told those two in particular.
In other news, I bought a movie ticket to see a midnight IMAX showing of Watchmen. The last time I've been to an IMAX theater was a long time ago in Canada. Only just two years ago did San Diego finally got an IMAX theater. (Before then, there was only an IMAX Dome at a science museum.) How come it took that long for an IMAX to open up in a major city like SD?
In unrelated news, Chris Brown should be punished for abusing Rihanna. Date violence is always wrong and Rihanna is too gorgeous to be beaten! I can't believe people are supporting Brown and taking this situation lightly! They might as well get beaten by Brown, just to know how it feels. Haha!
