I Eat Toast

I finally saw High School Musical.

My sister made me watch it. I'm not lying.

Verdict:

Eh, it was okay. However, it wasn't good enough to make me want to see more adventures of East High's Wildcats. In other words, it is not worthy of having sequels, let alone stage shows, ice shows, etc.

I have the same opinion about the Ice Age movies-- the first was okay, but it's sequel(s) was unnecessary. Besides, the sequel was hardly better than the first, save for this scene.

Why make sequels to a movie that was "alright" instead of one that was "THE BOMB!!!"? Oh wait, I forgot--movie studios like to build franchises to subpar movies so they can make billions of dollars. How nice. >_>

At least the incestuous siblings Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) and Ryan (Lucas Grabeel) were fun to watch.



Christian Siriano



On Saturday morning I found out that Project Runway winner Christian Siriano was going to be in San Diego! I knew I had to bring my friend along because she is a big fan of his.



Christian Siriano was there to host a runway show for the Simon Fashion Now event at Fashion Valley Mall. There was an autograph session afterwards.

While my friend and I were running towards the autograph line, we passed right by him! He was walking and sipping coffee. When I recognized his face, I wanted to say hi but I knew that it wouldn't be fair for everyone else. Eventually, we met him and got his autographs. Needless to say, he was very friendly. :)



At one point, while he was signing my autograph, I asked if Project Runway was accurate. "Of course it is!" he quipped! Hehe, I had to ask!
