Never Let Me Down

I'm back in school. Here's is my fall semester schedule.

MATH 120 - Math for General Education

- linked with -

ENGL 120 - College Composition and Reading

MCOM 230B - Digital Film Production II

ES 299 - Fitness Boot Camp

Some math tutoring class

I was going to take statistics but I chose the general math class because its linked with English. Last time I took linked classes (College Composition with Images of Women in Literature) I got "B's" in both because they were comprehensive and easy, since they taught the same topics. Plus, we went on a field trip to see a musical!

My mom also wants to take statistics. She's a math teacher and she knows everything BUT statistics! Some day we'll take a class together, as long as she doesn't embarrass me!

In digital film production, I'm pretty much THE SHIT in my group. Because I took the class before, my professor gave me the role of producer-director of my group. This means a lot to me because its a high position! I'm pretty much in charge of a group! Plus, I'm working people who know their craft! YIPPEE!!!! Now all we have to do is make good short films!

Fitness Boot Camp is a new exercise course. It doesn't have a drill instructor.

Outside of school, I'm doing a bunch of volunteer work. I'm volunteering at an art festival with my school's Circle K. I'm also going to volunteer at the San Diego Film Festival. I'm going to help promote a documentary called The Pursuit of Equality, which is about the 2004 same-sex marriages in San Francisco. However, I'm yet to set up my schedule and do some of my duties. I haven't had the time yet. :\ Next month I'm going to volunteer at the San Diego Asian Film Fest. I haven't set up my schedule for that either.

Speaking of movies, I want to see Towelhead when it comes out here. No, I'm not insulting anyone! That's the name of the movie and there's a long reason why its called that. Also, it's directed by the guy who screenwrote American Beauty, which was a good movie. In fact, I saw the him during G4's attack of the show!'s Comic Con broadcast when I was in the audience. Oh yeah, good-looking Aaron "Two-Face" Eckhart is in it. He's probably the reason why I want to see the movie! Hehehe! XD

Two entries ago I wrote about a musical called Spring Awakening. Its a rock musical about teenagers in late 1800s Berlin going through sexual awakenings and teenage frustration. Anyway, I saw it and I loved it! Its currently touring the US. (I saw it here in San Diego, of course.) See it when you can!!!

The next musical I want to see is The Drowsy Chaperone. Unlike Spring Awakening, this one is a comedy. I haven't bought my ticket for this one yet. I want to take my parents to this one but I haven't told them about it yet. (This past week, my dad was in Canada for my cousin's wedding. My mom didn't want me to go, unfortunately.) I also need to set up my schedule and shit. Fucking schedules...
