ES 028-- Yoga: A
MCOM 110-- Mass Media and Society: A

This has been the best semester EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck, this is probably the first time I got all "A's"! :D

I'm lazy right now. I would make a full on write up of Comic Con but I don't feel like it. Instead, I'll supply you with a summary.

Basically, this year's Comic Con was a mix of excitement and disappointments. For one thing, I missed out on the Watchmen panel, which I've been dying to attend. I also missed out on the Pushing Daisies panel due to huge crowds. At least I stood right behind Watchmen director's Zack Snyder's back when he appeared on G4's Attack of the Show's live broadcast from Comic Con.

I also attended The Spirit panel, a panel about costume designers for movies, and the Adventures in Anime panel, staring voice actors Jeff Nimoy and Quinton Flynn. It was pretty funny. Here's of video of them singing their silly song about...yaoi!

On Sunday I attended the panel about the cartoon series The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, and the upcoming TV special Underfist. Yet, on Saturday I actually got autographs (on a nifty magnet) from creative director JG Quintel and the creator/voice-actor Thurop Von Orman.

(NOTE: My first name has been whited out to keep my identity private.)

Of course, I had to give them my opinions and thoughts about Flapjack. According to Quintel, they put adult humor into the show. Ha! No wonder I'm hooked! XD

Interestingly, I ALMOST didn't get their autographs. That day I was really bummed about about missing out on the Pushing Daisies panel, The Spirit actor signing (which happened on Friday), and the Watchmen cast signing (on Friday too). When I noticed that the Flapjack signing started and that they weren't letting any more people in line, I just wanted to leave the convention. I felt that I had no reason to be at Comic Con if I kept missing out on events. (Okay, that may sound over-dramatizing, but come on, these were things I had planned to see months ahead of time, and I missed them all!) Just before I was about to leave, I looked back at the Cartoon Network booth and saw my friend in line! I came up to him to greet him and he got me a place in line. The rest is history. :)

I videotaped the first portion of the Flapjack/Chowder/Underfist panel. The first portion, of course, is about Flapjack. The cast and crew discuss the show and take questions from the audience. Here are video links to the discussion, the first part of the Q&A, and the last part of it.

Overall, the panel was interesting. During and after the panels I got autographs from Maxwell Atoms, the creator of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and Steve Little, who's a writer for Flapjack and the voice of Doc Barber from the series. Here's a video of him doing the voice of his character! XD

Okay, so maybe I wasn't very lazy after all!
